People who drive too slowly in the left lane put other drivers at risk. This is because slow drivers in the left lane can cause traffic jams, accidents and road rage incidents. Starting November 1, the left lanes on the road are only going to be for passing other vehicles. Drivers who remain in them permanently can face steep fines.
When large semitrucks are the vehicles in the left lane, there is a huge danger for other drivers on the road. These large trucks need to be able to maneuver, but the blind spot on the right side of the truck is larger than the blind spot on the left. This means that the trucker might end up hitting someone’s vehicle if they try to change lanes back to the right lane.
Another issue that comes into the picture when trucks drive in the left lane is that the semitruck might have a slower speed limit than other vehicles. This could mean that other drivers try to pass the trucks even when it is unsafe to do so.

SPEAK TO AN ATTORNEY TODAYWhen accidents occur because of truckers trying to drive in the left lane or move between lanes, innocent people can suffer. These individuals might decide that they are going to seek compensation. This is done through a personal injury lawsuit.
People who are considering a lawsuit should make sure that they fully understand the process. Oftentimes, this can include negotiations that are aimed at a settlement. If that doesn’t work, the case might go to a trial for a jury to determine the outcome.
